How to get started
Before an FJATA audit can be conducted there is certain preparation work that needs to be done by both the Participating Companies and Factories. Below is a list of the steps that need to be completed before any audit can be scheduled.
Participating Companies PREP to do list:
- Register on Sumerra FJATA Registration Site
- Contact Sumerra CRM – Provide either full factory list or 6 month auditing requirements and target audit date requirements (60 day window)
- Sharing Costs Confirmation – Confirm if Participating Company will absorb the sharing costs or if it will be passed on to factories
- Attend Participating Company Orientation Webinar (Pre-recorded Webinar)
Factories PREP to do list:
- Register on Sumerra FJATA Registration Site
- Complete Factory Profile Form
- Confirm Audit Date with Sumerra and 3rd Party Auditing Company
- Prepay Audit Cost & Sharing Costs (if applicable)
- Attend Participating Factory Orientation Webinar (Pre-recorded Webinar)
Once these steps are completed, Sumerra can start the audit management process which is outlined below:
