Responsible Sourcing Network (RSN) is spearheading YESS: Yarn Ethically & Sustainably Sourced, an initiative to create an industry-wide due diligence system for spinning and fabric mills to identify and address cotton produced with forced labor in their supply chains.

YESS aims to:

• Assist companies in complying with global anti-slavery and due diligence regulations.
• Train and enable spinning mills & fabric mills to implement effective due diligence systems to identify and mitigate supply chain risk.
• Establish an industry-wide due diligence approach and a global list of verified spinners and mills.
• Increase marketability for spinners, mills, and brands sourcing ethical cotton.
• Provide consumers with assurance that the industry is taking steps to eliminate forced labor from cotton production.

• Audit firm and auditor selection, along with the associated training and support
• YESS assessment mobilization
• Assessment quality assurance (QA)
• Oversight of dispute and conflict resolution
• YESS Assessment expiration notification
• Reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) and user feedback

Please note assessment scheduling times vary depending on a variety of factors including location and auditor availability. However, typical scheduling times are between three to four months. Once you have completed the Audit Request Form, our team will contact you within ten business days to start the coordination process.

*Individual auditors are required to be associated with an audit firm. Once an audit firm is approved to conduct YESS assessments, individual auditors who work for that firms may apply for approval.
